Patrik Walser

Carvings

The ornate carvings were created by the hand of Patrik Walser. Born in Schaan in 1987, he is very accurate with a chainsaw. Already during his apprenticeship as a forest warden he discovered his passion for chainsaw carving. For more than 20 years now, he has been making wooden sculptures of various sizes and shapes with his chainsaws. The sculptures are created exclusively from native trees, as the protection and preservation of the forest and nature are very important to him. This allows him to produce his carvings in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way. In addition to his passion for carving, he is active in the Liechtenstein Mountain Rescue and enjoys spending time with his family in nature. The local recreation area in Liechtenstein offers a wide range of possibilities in summer as well as in winter, leaving nothing to be desired.
